- Fractionated Co2 lasers – both burn scars and keloid scars can be treated with fractionated Co2 laser therapies, which allow laser light to penetrate deep into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin, replacing damaged skin with new skin cells over time.
- DEEP FX and SCAAR FX – both of these treatments use laser microbeams that penetrate deep to flatten and soften scars, while breaking down scar tissue and stimulating the skin’s natural healing response well within the dermal layers.
- Injections – another option is that of cortisone injections, which can flatten and soften extremely thick scars on the skin, while also reducing common concerns such as itching and pain.
